Easy access to town and beach

we extended our stay for a further two nights. upgraded us to an upper room which was a nice touch. we booked a tour to the islands from a nearby tour shop but it was cancelled at short notice due to rough deas and wind. managed to book us on a tour to ream national park only 5 minutes before pick up and we were had a great day.
the team look after their guests well. we were glad to have stayed at the coolabah
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Ream national park is a must see. The boat ride through the mangroves is beautiful.Get there before the Chinese finish developing the area for "tourism"

Great place, lovely staff , food and bees good (though on the costly side), and for those wanting pool/sauna etc, you're in luck! People who have complained about this venue must remember that they are in Cambodia, not their homeland, so there will always be some differentiation between home and host country.

I came for a scuba copurse and stayed at the Coolabah as it was among the nicer options in the area I needed to be in. I enjoyed my stay. Stayed there for three nights, then went out on a boat scuba diving overnight, and when I returned, they upgraded me from a single to a double balcony room. The rooms I had were both good. Restaurant serves very good food... I didn't find any better in Sihanoukville. Portions are large - almost too large! Everyone from servers to managers and owners are very attentive to guests' enjoyment and comfort - I was asked numerous times how things were going. Friendly atmosphere in one of the nicer places in the Serendipity beach area. About 5 minute walk to the beach (which I would not want to stay on anyway - it has a bit too much of a hustle atmosphere with constant hawking going on). I would definitely return there if in Sihanoukville again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Scuba Nation is a good dive center with excellent instructors and solid attention to safety and equipment.

we arrived and enjoyed a welcome drink in the restaurant then got a room downstairs beside the pool which was well equipped. we did have an issue with the door lock but this was swiftly sorted whilst we went out for dinner
the quality of food in the restaurant was good and we took our breakfast each morning then either lunch or dinner alternatively during our stay
danny advised us about obtaining our vietnam visa at the consulate. the advice was spot on

Sihanoukville is a great place to get a Vietnam visa. Took less than 10 minutes

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. The staff and owners were very nice and helpful, the restaurant was good and not overpriced. The hotel maybe is a little bit more expensive compared to some other places but then it did have a little pool.
The rooms were good sized but they did not have a private balcony. Close to all the action and the beach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try some other beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Had planned to Sihnoukville at the end of our holiday to sit on the beach for 3 days. Unfortunately, it rained for most of our stay but this didn't matter because we could still swim in the pool, get a massage or nails done, eat or get a drink at any point of the day, and generally relax sitting outside of our room reading a book. Within a few minutes of the beach and plenty of bars/ restaurants. Rooms were fine - everything you needed in them, plus good cleanliness. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Certainly recommend this.

Fantastic position with great staff

we were soo overjoyed by this hotel, the position, the staff, the sunday roasts and monday night charity quiz nights, that we encouraged another 2 people to stay. we extended our 2 week trip by 3 days,even though we had paid for other accommodation. were the managers and couldn’t do enough to help us. i had hurt my back so they arranged a dvd and movies in our room, just to see us through. fabulous sunday roasts with yorkshire puddings, courtesy of danny (from yorkshire) the owners verona and douglas host a quiz night on monday nights, for charity, but also enables you to meet others.
loved it. my sister and her family and others will be staying there in about 2 weeks.

Restaurant Tip:
Bayon Restaurant across the road serves great traditional Khmer food. Though it takes quite some time for them to serve. But then again, everything is slow in Cambodia. We ordered fish amok, morning glory and sour soup. All are great!

A wonderful hotel, we stayed for 2 nights and than came back for 2 more. the food in the restaurant is very tasty, we ate only there since it's so convenient. rooms are very clean and nice. the manager is very nice and friendly, all the staff try to help with everything.low season we paid 30 $ for a double bed room.
walking distance from the beach although we didn't like that beach at all.I would stay there again for sure.
