- Private beach; clean, White sand etc - Service is clearly an issue (front desk rude, concierge useless -he failed to book a tour calling the wrong agency so we woke up at 6 for nothing - they made us pay for drinks we did not order, they don't speak English etc..)
- during our 4 days stay we saw rats in the pool bar and the restaurant
- near red light district. Mixed feelings. The beach is beautiful but we were very disapointed with the service. It's more a 3 stars... The front desk people only speak a few words of English, tend to be arrogant and rude. You will be feeling that they only want your money and don't care about you being satisfied or not. Don't ask anything to the concierge as he has a lot of difficulties with English... We had to reconfirm 5 times to get our tour booked but still he called the wrong tour operator so we ended up loosing a day... After complaining to a manager they kindly offered a basket of fruit (too kind)...
Travel tip : Go to happa restaurant! We loved it

Nice beach, nice pool area, casual Room hot, air condition did not work well, staff slow to bring towels and fix the safe Nice place, nice pool area, the workers were under staffed in the restaurant and the pool area. Slow service, restaurant not very clean. Room were adequate, not super nice, not five star, but ok, They need to work on customer service when you check in, it was difficult and slow, noone to help you and upon checkout the credit card machine phoneline was down so I had to pay cash, witch was kind of unusual in a five star place. I would probably try another hotel next time. Excellent seafood restaurant and excellent chef and food and service and very romantic, the best part of the hotel, the gym was so hot I could not work out.
Restaurant Tip : Eat at the seafood restaurant over the water on the beach, one of the best restaurants ever.

Friendly staff No trust in the customer e.g. you have to sign in and sign out your beach towel! You need a voucher for breakfast! Etc…
Tasteless stretch limousine in the forecourt.
Five star facilities, but not five star service. There was an obsession with rules/process, which trap the staff, although they are friendly/willing, .
No atmosphere, the bar closed at 10pm. (Even the cockroach left).
Free wifi at bar, but had too pay if you where anywhere else in the hotel.
If you life big impersonal hotels than this will be fine for you, but we like hotels that have a bit of character, where the staff provide excellent service that is tailored to the customer and where you can check in without any hassle. As you see from the list of cons, we didnt feel the hotel gave the kind of service we expect when paying five star prices.
