Very nice hotel but average food quality
Very spacious. Private and clean beach. Good size rooms. Room positioned to see pool and ocean.

We stayed 4 days over Christmas. Very nice Christmas gala dinner. Very nice beach, although we did spend one day at another public beach called Otres Beach (had good cheap restaurants and adult beverages). Nice spa.
Negative was food service very slow and average food quality. Breakfast buffet was very average, kind of a disorganized layout.
Overall I was satisfied with this hotel.
Travel tip:
Visit Otres Beach. Very nice and quiet.

The compound is great with something for everyone. Its nearby the party Serendipity beach and provides a great escape. Staff are warm and very friendly

Resort have nice room with great view but staff speak poor english which is not comfy to ask for something. Anyway they are friendly to try to understand. But anyhow, too many flies.

Very nice Beach Hotel with Private Beach access

It was our 4th visit to this Hotel and its still a favourite place. We prefer the old building and we would not stay in the new resort buildings or in the Water Villas. The old part has still the charm of a real beach hotel and the pool (even a bit cold as it is very big)and the huge garden area is great. You can hang around the pool area or along the beach with enough chairs and shadow for you comfort. The water is crystal clear and the fishes are nipping at your legs and feet. No beach hawkers and only on weekends there are many locals around also as hotel guests.
Hotel Feature Tip:
For a restful and relaxing holiday its a great location. The SPA is also very nice and excellent massages. In the Sauna area for men would be good to have more relax chairs. Its a bit overpriced now and since they started with the Casino in a bigger way, the clientele might get more into locals and Asians. It is also a bit difficult to get a fair transport from the Hotel to the very nearby Ochheuteal Beach, where all the Action and Restaurants are. The Hotel provides very limited Shuttle Service and should improve this service.

it is much more beautiful than the pic shown on their hotel website. their own beach is clean and amazing. the upholstery of this hotel is so cambodia type. and the general service is good, only one outfield cook pull a long face to serve the egg for the morning buffet.

Fantastic Hotel with big management problems

Despite of a perfect service, extremely friendly personnel, nice rooms, good food and a wonderful beach the hotel has a big deficit in management.
During our stay of 5 days they cutted some trees in small pieces with a very loud chainsaw(!!!) for 4 (four!) days in the morning and in the afternoon.
And this on the beach near us.
We complained 5 times with no results.
Only on the 5th day they stopped.
One desk manager suggested us.......... to move far apart from the working area!!!!
Additionally on the beach around 30% of the beach chairs was partially damaged.
Also in this case no reaction.
The management is fully unable to react.
Sorry but this is not a 5star Hotel.

We felt very welcome & any problems we had were sorted out quickly & with a smile. The pool was great with a bar, the beautiful beach was the highlite for us, no outsiders allowed in so no hawkers, plenty of beach lounges & umbrellas. There are 2 restaurants with different food on offer, the grounds are well kept.

Check in was smooth. Rooms spacious and clean, bathroom okay, lots of soap, shampoos, etc. available. TV gets several channels. Beds were comfy, good linens, a/c and WIFI work well. Lovely robes provided. Breakfast buffet was excellent – best yet of our 4 month Southeast Asia tour. There is a large clean pool and beautiful beach with white sand. Although a huge resort, it was super quiet. Food prices are okay. Desk will call you a tuk tuk. Eat at Mick and Craig’s or Monkey Republic if you want cheap decent food. (For divers: Dive Shop was okay but diving was only satisfactory – didn’t see much). We’d stay here again – worth every cent.
