Ideal location, beautiful five-star hotel, fantastic views - and revolving restaurant on the top floor.

None!

Beijing International Hotel - I don`t think I could have made a better choice for our three days`stay in Beijing. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and serviceminded and the location is ideal both for visiting all the famous sightseeing points and shopping (the Silkmarked only ten minutes away by taxi).

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : All the main sightseeing points are quite close by taxi.

good location, nice hotel, visible and accessible

big, crowded at times. breakfast area was crowded and not best buffet around. Internet very expensive.

This is a value based five star hotel. The staff are pretty good and the facilities are fine. They are not real customer focused, room for improvement there. The rooms are a bit dated and worn but passable. Location is good, breakfast is OK, not great. Food and internet pricing made up for low room rate as they were pricey.

The bedding has been upgraded and is comfortable. The mattress is a bit hard but welcome to Asia. For what you are paying, it is a clean, busy hotel.

Could use a makeover and upgrading in bathrooms,

I think the Beijing International Hotel is as good a choice as any other if you are in for a couple of days. The price point was good and if you aren't spending much time in the room it is perfect. The room was clean, the bathroom perhaps in need of some TLC was clean, but the bedding has been updated & was quite comfortable. It's proximity to the subway is near, the Forbidden Palace is a nice, long walk, but worth it. never ate in the restaurants so I can not remark

Travel tip : Subway is close by. If you know your destination, then this is the way to travel. Saves you time, so you are not sitting in some of those dreadful traffic jams that are becoming more common in Beijing.

Good value, excellent location.

breakfast is mediocre and expensive, internet access fees are very high

This is an excellent location in Beijing for both tourism and business. It is a bit outdated in decoration, but is clean, spacious and a good value. I would recommend this hotel and in fact, when I needed to stay longer on this trip, I extended the stay here.

Location, Express Shuttle to Airport, Service were all outstanding.

Unaware that room deposit was required until we checked in. This was not a bad issue, just a unexpected surprise.

The location of the hotel is very close to the subway to all areas of Beijing, Tiananmen Square is two stops from hotel. Express shuttle to the airport is in front of the hotel. Front desk, concierge desk, and housekeeping are very good and helpful. Checkout was very fast, hotel staff could understand English very well. Hotel requires room deposit of 500 Yuan for each day of your stay, we were not aware of this until check in and had to pay a 2,000 Yuan deposit for our four day stay, the deposit was returned at checkout. We did not utilize the restaurants at the hotel so we cannot comment on them and will leave a rating of "4". Very good money exchange service, very fast with a low service charge.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Subway very close to the hotel.

I like the location. I think it is located in the heart of Beijing, whereas it is near by silk market, wan fu jiang street and the central train station.

This hotel is old. the building is old and so does the furniture inside it. One more thing, this hotel definately needs a friendly lobby, where people could sit around and wait for their guests or waiting to be picked up.

My overall review of the hotel would be that this hotel have a selling point of it's location, but some of the rooms needs improvements such as new furniture, or a full redecoration. I noticed that some of the standard rooms are in good shape, but there are still some with a very old (80's/90's) touch to it. To that extent, Beijing International Hotel could upgrade all of the old room to a better standard to fulfill the needs and to meet the international standard of a five star hotel.

Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel is located in a strategic area, which is near the central train station (7' walking distance). Although it is a five star hotel, but it's an old five star hotel. The furniture of the room that i'm staying goes back in the 90's or even 80's. It was on the 18th floor.

Good service and location just in front of the main rail station

It is more a 4 star hotel may be 4 and half so is the room

It is more a 4 star Hotel (4 and half) but I cannot complain about the service or the Japanese restaurant I went to eat to. Location is good just in front of the main rail station. I did not have a chance to see or to eat at the top floor rotating restaurant.

The hotel is very near the airport. It is clean and ambiance is fantastic. The service is very good. Though we did'nt taste much of the food there, the Long Life noodles was great. It was an enjoyable experience in Beijing International Hotel

Majority of the employees does'nt speak English hence we had a hard time communicating with them especially in the restaurant. Service water is not available at the restaurant. No seats in the lobby to stay with. The merchandise in the shopping areas are very expensive. I wasn't able to go shopping because there is no one to ask to.

Overall our stay in Beijing International Hotel was worth it. Though we lack time because 3days and 2 nights was not enough to see Beijing. But we got what we wanted for. RELAXATION!!! We were also able to see The Great Wall and visit the Forbbiden City. Next time it will be a longer vacation so that I can still go shopping.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is very near the Airport, Tiannmen square,Forbidden City and other historical place in China.

no entertainment in the loby

Beijing international hotel is nice architect and a good prime location . The loby is huge but empty with no attractions or setting area. Not much entertainment in the hotel. The AC in the room is hot and not comfortable. The rooms need renovation. But for such price it is good value.

Shopping Tip : near to forbiden city and silk market

Accessible to metro, forbidden city and malls...

So far the hotel is good nothing that we can think of....

If you are going to Beijing on a rainy day you have to be in a hotel accesible to restuarants, shops, malls, historic places and etc. The metro which is very near to the hotel is a great help... The hotel in general is nice except that you have to wait for somebody who speaks english the counter to asked for information... Nevertheless the Silk Market which is 10mins walk from teh hotel is a great bargain to buy.....

Shopping Tip : If you want cheap things you can bargain the most at SILK MARKET

Lovely room. Good food. Helpful staff.

The Travel Agent in the hotel had a trip to the Beijing Acrobatic group theatre where they took you but you had to get your own way back - a disaster on a monsoon evening with no taxis anywhere.

The Beijing International hotel is very impressive as would be expected from a 5 star. The staff were helpful in the check-in and getting to the room. The situation was good as it was walking distance to some of the main attractions. The food in the different restaurants was enjoyable and service was excellent. The room itself was lovely with all the amenities that would be expected from a 5star hotel.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Have someone write down the chinese destination for taxis.

Location

Need updating

This hotel is in an excellent location. The lobby area is spacious but unfortunately has no seating area. Hotel needs updating to bring it in line with other local hotels. Rooms are clean and some are spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Check in/out was done quickly. Only a few minutes walk to the Dongdan shopping mall. This hotel is value for money.

- Central location - Clean and well maintained

- Overpriced bar (80RMB for bottle of water) - No free internet (120RMB per day) - Poor water pressure in the shower

It was an OK stay but i am sure you could find a better value for money elsewhere
