Breakfast provided for both though self-serve. Internet connection.
Only 1 staff member could speak English. Situated in very old area of Beijing. Advertised as 3 star but not up to that level. Corridors dark. Huge bathroom but taking shower leads to whole bathroom being flooded. No hangers to hang clothes in bathroom. Not enough towels provided. Bed not very comfortable. 2 cats parleyed late at night making sleeping a difficult proposition. Add to this neighbours washing dishes and talking loudly. Air conditioner cools only one part of room.
The hotel is in very old area of Beijing and seems to appear suddenly among old shops. Breakfast provided and internet connection but bathroom gets wet after one shower. Noisy from cat parleying at night and neighbours washing dishes. A/C cools only one part of room. More towels should be provided.
Travel tip : Nothing of note.

Room a little dirty (and extremely dusty), basic amenities are not included,
Overall, the stay was average and I might consider staying at the hotel again for my next trip to Beijing. However, a lot of minor improvements are needed.
One really disturbing detail was the rotting half-eaten cake left in the mini fridge by a previous guest. As soon as the fridge door was open, the stench/odor took over the room. The hotel staff, upon learning this information, apologized and removed the fridge. We were never compensated in any way, nor were we given a new fridge in replacement of the old one. This is also an indicator of the quality of the cleaning staff.
The location is convenient enough to the major tourist spots. It will take approximately a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride. There are definitely closer alternatives if convenience is a big factor for you.

The room was old, small and the bathroom needed updating.
The shower doesn't work.
The hotel don't provide free soap and shampoo.
