Low standard

We came late at night, were very tired. The staff in the reception said there was no booking, I had my Agoda Hotel Voucher, I had payed two mounth earlier, but they said I hadn´t. Not fun, when we had traveled the hole night, just to sleep for one night for going to Stockhom the day after. They wanted me to pay again, but I refused. At last they let us get the room. No breakfast included!

Good value for money, clean, comfortable bed, competent English-speaking staff that patiently (for the Chinese) answered all my questions.

No gaping weaknesses; I was pleasantly surprised all around.

arrived at Beijing Airport late evening, and went to the hotel reservations desk. They called for the Capital shuttle, which arrived promptly and took me on the 15 minute ride to the hotel. Staff, including bellman was polite, answered all my questions; hotel room was spotless, bed was comfortable. No problem catching the 6 am shuttle back to the airport, except that in true Chinese style there were at least 35 people in a vehicle designed to hold no more than 20. The only thing I could have wished for is that the business services office be available later, but I know that this is SOP in almost all Asian hotels.
