Pleasantly surprised with stay

I was a little hesitant after reading the most recent reviews given to this hotel. However, after some due diligence, gave it a try. I'm glad I did. At the discount, this hotel is a real steal. I was actually expecting to get a smaller room, however my room turned out to be a large duplex suite. Aside from the comfortable bed, there is also a full size dining table, two fridges, one full bath and one half bath, a computer for use, and a comfortable couch to relax on. The room is big enough and has enough amenities for you to comfortably spend all day indoors. The hotel isn't the newest, and because it could use renovations as far as elevators and possibly plumbing, doesn't rate as a true 5-star hotel. It also does not have a fitness center anymore. However, for its price, it was a very comfortable and value-added choice of stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
10 minute walk to your west and you are right at the center of the CBD, the new CCTV building, the place, etc... 5 minute walk to the east and you are at the center of the Dawanglu area, and can do some thrift shopping at the 东角市场 (dong jiao shi chang).

Good they are renovating the hotel, not too noisy but due to this there is no restaurant inside, they sent you outside for breakfast 50 meters but was only so so.
