Good Location to subway, shopping,restaurants etc,
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. It was clean and quiet. Staff was always helpful and spoke enough English to answer all our questions.
Restaurant Tip : Good Korean restaurant next door

Free 15 min internet daily for residents.
Extremely close to metro station.
Staff will try to help.
A lot of staff have a poor level of English.
Restaurant is overpriced for what you get.
Rooms need much improvement.
Hotel is in a good location, and the tourist locations are in easy reach by metro or walking.
The room I booked through Agoda wasn't nice - mouldy and smelly bathroom, and it had a dirty carpet; and that was a deluxe room which I paid extra for.
I only booked this hotel as the tour I was to go on started here. The room I got on the tour was much better.
Nightlife Tip : There is no nightlife in this area. We went to the blue green club, near by the hotel. I'd give it a miss. It's overpriced, small, and they'll try to take what money off you they can - they tried to give my party of ten a table in the only room that was booked and occupied for a private birthday party. Failing that, we were offered the garden! It's more like a scooter car park with patio furniture.

This was my second visit to the Chong Wen Men Hotel, this time as a solo traveler. I liked my room, good bathroom, and friendly staff. I used their internet facilities, which were handy though not very cheap. The hotel is in a central spot near the Forbidden City and a there is a good bakery around the corner. The subway is right outside, and can be used to connect with the fast train to the airport.
Hotel Feature Tip : Have some idea of how much your taxi ride should cost before engaging the taxis outside the hotel. E.g International airport 80-85 yuan by meter, bit you can pay an extra 50 yuan or for the convenience. Get the destination written in Chinese for the driver.
