The only negative point was -when you switched on the heating - it blows air with the taste of smoke in your room- I suppose the air is recucled from other rooms and as chinese are fanatic smokers you get it afterwards .
Travel tip:
If you want to visit the city you better choose a hotel closer to Beijing- as otherwise your taxibill will be high.

The outside of the hotel looked like a building site. The entrance was on the side of the building taxi driver had problems finding the entrance. Breakfast room, bar and restaurant in the basement next to underground car park, no windows. Hotel very close to airport runway planes constantly taking off and landing very lose above the hotel. Free wifi but it worked only intermittently. Good price

I arrived late. Good thing I took a taxi to the hotel and didn't wait for the shuttle. The staff is very friendly and effective, nice and large rooms, good internet connection. Overall it is a good airport hotel.

Location
The hotel is located around 10 minute drive from Terminal 3 at Beijing Capital airport in a shared office block. By Taxi don't expect to pay more than 20RMB although there is a free shuttle bus (which you have to call to come). The exhibition centre is close by and hotel next to a main highway, there isn't much to walk to in area other than the odd restaurant. However it is perfect if you need to be close to the airport and don't wish to pay high prices.
Room
The room has two double beds and is spacious with a small wooden desk and and a small couch, there is a reasonable size wardrobe and some large mirrors. The TV is 42 inch but very cheap as clarity is poor, there is around 30 channels but 3 are english (CNN, HBO and ESPN-all very bad clarity or picture). The bathroom is pretty good, there is a large rain shower and additional separate shower head. When hot water flows it works well. Amenities are branded as day-inn and fairly simple but don't smell to great. The room decor is quite bland but comfortable. The room appears fairly clean but dust is present on corners and carpet edges. The bed is firm but adequately comfortable. Lighting options and plugs are plentiful and work well, the AC also is fairly quiet and controls are easy. Overall you will get a decent sleep for a overnight stopover if you need the airport or exhibition centre as long as you are not on 4th floor.
Facilities
The hotel has 1 restaurant downstairs, again simple and plain. I didn't try breakfast (costs 58RMB) but had room service twice. Would not recommend the pizza, thinking this was a safe bet as I ve had food poisoning in China 4 times (at other 5 star hotels), however the pizza comes with a cold base and cheese is only warmed on top but they did try and resolve it when i sent it back. 2nd night had sandwich and chips and was good.
There is also a gym or recreational centre as they call it and it contains 4 pieces of equipment, treadmill, cross trainer, and 2 bikes.
Hotel Feature Tip:
try and get a room on the 2nd floor (less aircraft noise)

Great location near the airport

The hotel is very modern with great and comfortable rooms. There is free internet available. There is a great restaurant in the basement offering chinese and western food. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport and not far from the hotel is also a street with western restaurants and bars. I really recommend this hotel if you have to stay near the airport.
