Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

The basement rooms are very bad. tehre is no lift to take you down and no Person to help you if you have some luggage. No one will be ready to help you to receive you except for 2 front office grls to do your paperwork.

Nice clean hotel and friendly staff
Great and convenient location
9.3
walking distance to forbidden city etc and there is bus stop right outside the hotel - very cheap transportation. buses are new and clean and cheap fare RMB2 can cover quite a distance. Food portions are huge haha
walking to famous food street too!
Shopping Tip:
Xiushui is a 5 storey shopping complex worth visiting but mindful of prices (here is why u exercise yr bargaining power!) haha
All sort of stuffs, electronics, clothings, luggages, jewelleries etc

Days Inn Forbidden City Hotel
Price reasonable and nice place
6.3
Stay at this hotel on 26/3-28/3. There is nearby metro and Forbidden City (Just around 5-10mins by feet). And the room is so tidy and clean. Staff is polite.
Restaurant Tip:
There have 1 restaurant at side at the hotel. Price is reasonable. And there nearby WangFuJing Street. Is easy to found the restaurant.

Great hotel, helpful staff, great location.
Location to Forbidden City, Night Markets and Food
8.7
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Most spoke good English and were also asking if they could be of help. This was a nice place to spend a few nights while I got my bearings after the long trans-Pacfic flight. The room was neat and tidy with nice amenities. The bed was large (king) and comfortable. Bathroom was small but manageable. Would stay again!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
HIt the nearby night market!

Great location; very helpful staff
Location excellent for walking to many of the must see sites in Beijing - Tianamen Square; Forbidden City

The excellent location and helpful staff are what made our stay in this hotel so enjoyable. All staff - from the front desk to the concierge to the restaurant staff could all understand enough English to enable us to be understood and to understand. When we arrived back in Beijing for our last day and night in China they booked us in despite it being only 9 am. This enabled us to make the most of that day. The restaurant also has enough variety and is open long hours.

Best location in the center of Beijing!
Location, Location, Location, Affordability
7.3
This hotel is best for families who would like to stay at the heart of Beijing without spending too much. This may not be the newest hotel in town with the best facilities to date but I think the hotel is very well maintained. Would definitely consider staying here again when we go back to Beijing.
Shopping Tip:
A few minutes walk to Wangfujing.

my daughter and i stayed in this hotel during our visit to beijing. the hotel is located just 5 min. from the forbidden city and tianman square. also, very close to the main pedestrian shopping street, where you can find kfc and mcdonalds. the room was very clean and quiet. the hotel was a bit old, but the staff was very helpful. they booked our train tickets and acrobatic show. we enjoyed our 2 nights stay there.

great location
location; very central - walking distance from the metro and major attractions
7.7
staying in the basement suite probably wasn't the best idea; although clean on the surface, it smelled funny and was likely due to mold.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Although a few staff at the hotel had decent English communication skills, they didn't always provide us the correct directions to where we were going...use your map!
