Its located just next to wangfujing main shopping street, near tian an men and forbidden city. Very convenient. U can find good food around the hotel. One thing not so satisfied was the customer service staff not really friendly.
Travel tip:
Great location to stay because few attractions just around the corner.

centrally located on wangfujing avenue, beijing’s prime dining and shopping area, the hotel provides privacy, safety and personalized service to discerning travelers. all rooms in this all-suite property have spectacular views of the surrounding city or countryside, along with free broadband internet access. walking distance from tianamen square, the forbidden city, the subway station and other tourist attractions.

The location of the hotel is great as it is near the famous places to visit – Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. Lobby is spacious and well-kept with comfortable seats for the guests. Personnel speaks English though not everybody can express themselves well. Please make sure that you understand each other before you leave the front desk.
If you are booking several rooms, be sure to know the room number/s of your companions as our friend had difficulty locating our room when he called the reception.
The room has enough space to move around, linens were clean, and bed quality was good. Hot and cold water are provided in the bathroom. The room has a phone, refrigerator, TV with cable. Though the only English channel for movies was HBO.
Breakfast buffet was yum as choices are composed of bread, rice, cereals. The usual bacons, chicken and beef sausages, egg, pancakes, stir fried vegetable, salads, congee, fruits and a lot. The only downside when we were there was that it takes quite a while before they are able to replenish the dishes.
Fronting the hotel is a restaurant / bar so if you get hungry in the middle of the night you are just a couple of steps away. A few steps more and you are in the main road where you can easily locate convenience stores, shops for souvenirs and other restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay as it is affordable, convenient and satisfactory.
Shopping Tip:
When bargaining always cut the initial price offered in half. If you do not agree with the price say thank you and walk away with a smile.

The Deluxe King (Deluxe Double)we booked is located at the third floor of the adjacent building outside the main has enough space to move around, linens were clean, and bed quality was good. When shopping, initially check different stores before a purchase to benchmark on cost.If the seller gives you a price say cheaper or more discount and if he/she asks you for your price make sure that you give 70-15% lower from his initial price.Dont give a price unless you are willing to take the item for that cost.

We stayed at budget room which was located in the basement...don't bring heavy luggage as there is no elevator to the basement. Generally affordable. Good hotel location as it is walking distance to wangfujing street, forbidden city and tiananmen square.

hotel is supposed to provide transfer facility from airport to hotel &hotel to airport as per your site,
when requested they denied & asked rmb 150 for taxi where as normal charge is not more than rmb from hotel to airport.

the hotel gives the worst service i have ever encountered, and i have stayed in numerous hotels. example 1: i arrived hungry at the hotel in the earlier hours in the morning. i asked the counter staff whether there are any food outlets nearby, i was told none. next day i discovered that at wangfujing, there are 24 hours kfc and mcdonald. example 2: if you dirtied your bedsheet or your towel, you are expected to wash it clean for them, otherwise they will charge you for it (the cleaner will not collect it for washing and i confirm with the counter staff that either i wash it or i pay for it). i am not talking about non-removable stain, it only takes 5 minutes of handwashing using ordinary soap to get rid of it. i thought they are supposed to do the washing and they only want to wash clean items. this is the most ridiculous stuff i have ever heard of but i did wash the items and were not charged for it.
the cleanliness of the room is below average, there are black stains of the toilet flooring. the basement room is also quite stuffy and the heater control knob was loose. the problem was fixed after a few days. the room size is also tiny, more suited for 1 person than a couple.
the hotel do not provide free shavers (you have to pay for it), no body lotion. however they do provide disposable slippers. the tv only shows local programmes, no hbo, cnn, bbc etc.

the location was perfect. it is within walking distance to wangfujing, tiananmen square and forbidden city, and these places are probably at the top of your list of places to visit.
the staff are nice. they can speak basic english.
the room is decent. nothing too outstanding. but not shabby either.
buffet breakfast is not good for the price that we paid (68 cny). you're better off eating out. there are two restaurants just in front of the hotel. cheaper and better food choices.
all in all, it's a steal for its price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if you cannt speak mandarrin, you might want to shell out money to book for transportation for everything (from airport to hotel, going around the various tourist spots, and hotel to airport). 99% of cab drivers cannot understand english. they cannot even understand "tiananmen" or "wangfujing". showing them a map or printout of names of places you want to visit is no help at all.

We enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast was good despite the negative reviews. Wangfujing is is a short walk as is tons of street food.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurants across the street are expensive but handy in a pinch. Go with the second one down if you succumb.

after reading through the review by so many people i decided to try this hotel. yes..very nice and you feel fresh because of the surrounding. except we dont have a good facing and when we draw our curtains there is a construction site and alot of people walking through backlane so we had to draw our curtains most of the time. the rooms are clean and toilet are clean too. there is in internet in the room . the bell hop is very helpful including the front desk. very conveniently located. we will definitely come back again
Shopping Tip:
you take about 10-15 mins walk wang fu jing for your shopping. The MRT line 5 is just outside of the hotel, on your right hand side, take about 5-10 mins walk. You can take the mrt to ghost street for food.
