The location was great and the business room was very good except like most Chinese hotels the beds were hard as a rock. The hotel was good value for money. The service staff were very helpful. Taxis and buses were easy to get outside the hotel. The roads were a bit too busy at peak hour and certain times of the day. It was quicker to walk to Tiananmen Square or to the main road than to catch a taxi or bus.

Close location to the Tinamen Square (10min)
The area where hotel is located is near the main sewer and odor in the area you can only imagine ... The hotel is dirty and they don't deliver what they promise. They charge for everything (internet, breakfast, any small favors). The bathrooms smell bed, the windows, carpets and walls are very dirty.
Dirty, located near main sewer, they charge you for everything including the internet.

Location right near Tiannmen square. Quietness - at night the street in quiet. Buses are frequent outside hotel.
When I arrived, they tried to put me into a standard room even though I had booked and paid for a business room. Also, the standard room bathroom stunk - some old hotels do not have P-traps or S-bends in he bathroom drains and sewer smells come up into the room. I told them I could not possibly stay in this room and they then moved me to the room I had paid for and it was very good. Don't let them put you into a substandard room. If it smells, tell them to move you to a room that doesn't smell.
