Nice rooms, clean, close to good restaurants...the sichuan one right across the stress was yummy...in a mall if you want other food choices
Clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff, easy check-in and easy to/from the airport. This was perfect after coming back from Xi'an while waiting for our plane the next morning. The only downside is that it is a little ways away from the main attractions, but it is right around the corner from the art district if you like that...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The 798 art district is right around the corner from the hotel...

Nice hotel, good service, rooms very comfortable
maybe the room furnishings are a little on the old side but not really too bad
First stay at the Lido but probably not my last. Service was very good staff very friendly and helpful. The furniture in my room was a little on the old side probably been aaround for awhile but other some some wear and tear it was fine. Bed was comfortable and had plenty of hot water. for morning shower. Tried the buffet for lunch good varitey of foood American and Asian. Will definatly stay there againn especially if I can get the same rate as this trip. My friend liked the hotel enough that he changed his retrun reservation to the Lido from the Radission.
Travel tip : Arrived at the Beijing Airport with a friend got into the taxi line. Each of us had two pieces of baggage as we were trasveling for 3 weeks. For some reason the taxi driver refused to let us use the same cab, wouldn't let us put one of the bags in the front seat, we will forced to use a private bus for 300rmb. Taxi fare tothe hotel would have been 90 rmb tops. Tried to argue our case but to no avail. Really the only bad experiasnce during the trip

Americanized yet Chinese hotel with a lot of amenities right within walking distance. You can either pay more and eat at their restaurant or walk across the street and get great food for inexpensive prices! Also shopping across the street. The best feature: Taipan massage was within walking distance. What a treat to get a wonderful massage at low prices.
Shopping Tip : Pearl/Silk Market bus, Sunny Gold's within walking distance, Jenny's across the street.
