Jade Garden Hotel is an excellent hotel located in 5-min walk to the Forbidden City and to the shopping area, cafes and restaraunts. It provides excellent service. Rooms are big, clean, and well-equipped! Delicious buffet in the hotel restaurant! Hotel Receptionists did not speak very good English and sometimes it was difficult to communicate with them. Otherwise, they were very friendly and polite. Overall, the hotel can be given 9 1/2 out of 10 points on what it delivers as a four-start hotel - excellent rooms, common areas, restaurant, and one of the most important criterion is its location! It also offers tour bus services for day-trips - perfect opportunity to explore Beijin and its whereabouts!
Shopping Tip : definitely visit the Pearl Market - it is not only an interesting shopping but cultural experience!
And one more tip on airport-hotel-airport trip - take the regular taxi - it is cheaper!

Beautiful, tasteful rooms, free internet, excellent customer service. I wish breakfast was included in the price One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Great location, efficient and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the executive rooms, larger but only a slightly higher price. It was a short, safe walk to the Forbidden City. The hotel has a small parking lot which we did not use. The hotel is completely modern and clean, but it's a historic hotel, not your typical American chain.

Good locations and good air conditioning to get warm enough in Winter Bathroom has a bit odor but clean. We were welcome by the friendly staff during 2 nights stay in Beijing. The hotel is close to all i.e Imperial Palace, Tian An Mon Square,Wanfujing shopping street...At dusk, many food stalls set up and open just across the street from the hotel,We also booked tours to Great Wall and Ming Tomb from the hotel, fees was a bit higher than other place, but I think what you pay what you get, the quality of tour would be better.Overall
we were so satisfied to stay in this hotel with its cleanliness and good air conditioning and its price is reasonable, highly recommended to whom visiting in Beijing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel just located about 2 streets away from eastern side of the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace)
as well as you can walk to Tian An Mon square and the Wangfujing shopping area. It is close to all interesting places only in short distance.
