Location is good

Service. Not so clean. Each and every need is answered by Money request. There is no place to wait for friends, and one must buy at least a cup of coffee while waiting. The noght club is much too expensive

When checking in the room was not clean and the TV didn't work. Required more than 30 minules to find the right person to fix it. The people at the front desk speak English and relativly suportive. The location is a good copmpensation for the low level of other services and cost. Each and every request cost extra (internet, printing pages in the Business Center, nothing is included (breakfast, internet service etc)). There is only one shop at the hotel with very limited offering.

Lovely room with great staff, close to Subway station

Nothing really. Wished I could have stayed longer!

We stayed here for a total of 3 nights in October. The check in process was easy with excellent english spoken. Our room was all I could have imagined, large bed, fantastic bathroom, clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful when we asked to stay for an extra night. In fact they only charged us for a standard room but upgraded us for free. I would definitely consider coming back here next time I stay in Beijing.

Shopping Tip : Wangfujing shopping district is really near, as is the tube station. Subway only costs 2RMB per journey and is really efficient

- Good location near subway station - spacious room - good restaurants - helpfull staff - good service

None

The hotel is well located near the Dongdan subway station on line 1 and line 5, which makes that it is easy to reach many places in Beijing via the metro system. The rooms are spacious and the value for the price is very good. The only downside is that the furniture is getting a bit dated, but this gives it also a certain charm. Internet access is a bit expensive but according to the standard prices in Beijing hotels (1 yuan/minute). Staff is friendly and the room service is correct.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit the nearby ancient observatory, walk to the silk centre. Restaurants at the hotel (Japanese, Chinese, Asian) are of good quality. Near the silk centre are also more places to eat.

close to Tianamen square and silk market lovely rooms, spacious lobby with fresh flowers helpful staff

not close to any other restaurants

It is a very impressive hotel, very clean and good service. The rooms are big with good views. There is a nice sitting area in the foyer with a water feature where you can relax in comfy chairs. A couple of musicians play traditional instruments, which is lovely. Drinks are expensive - a cup of coffee at the time I was there was equivalent to NZ$12.00. Hotel staff are helpful.

Shopping Tip : you can walk to the wilk market - it's about half an hour but a pleasant evening stroll along streets shaded by trees

The hotel is well located to some of the city's attractions like the forbidden city, Tienmen square and some shopping malls.

The driver of the lioumosine which was booked in advance to take make from the hotel did not come as arranged on the day of my departure. I paid RMB 600 for a round trip from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport. I had to jump on thetaxi to take me to the airport. The hotel paid this taxi RMB 100. I thought this was unfair.

The hotel is a classy and well located and within a walking distance to the most tourist attractions within Beijing. The staff are helpful and courtesy. My wake up calls were made on time. The buffet meals were excellent as they provided a lot of variety of foods.

The physical location of the hotel suited most major attractions which made it easy to get around and maximize the time we had. The facilities were like new and well attended to. Close to Tienniman Square and the Forbidden City as well as other features, all within walking distance. Tour services were available in the hotel.

Staff communication was a weak point. Customer service was also very weak. There was not a good description of tours and services available. It turned out to be most of the services required a fee.

We enjoyed the hotel. For us the location could not have been better. All of the premier locations were within walking distance, and the tours we selected suited our desires. We just had to dig out the information or get it ourselves. That seemed to work out O.K. We cannot comment on the food in the hotel, as we ate out every day at different locations. We found the location to be more developed and sophisticated than Shanghai. We would use the same facility again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : All of the items listed in the box above are within close range of this hotel

The staffs are very helpful. Location of the hotel is convenient to the Beijing Railway Station, the subway and walking distance to Wangfuging.

I requested for a NON-SMOKING room in a NON-SMOKING floor but guests still smoke. The hotel MUST have stricter policy. The CARPETS in the room are filthy. The BATHROOMs show they are old. They need to be remodeled. The RUBBER MAT you place on the tab is full of mildew. This is in room 8021.

After all, I enjoyed my stay.

Hotel Feature Tip : You can take the airport shuttle LINE 3 and get off at the last stop which is at the Beijing Railway Station. From there, take a cab for 10rmb to the hotel, just around the corner.

Would stay here again. Guest Rating: 8.3

Close to subway and key landmarks. Clean, good sized rooms. Helpful and friendly staff.

A bit old with worn carpets and had to pay for internet use.

Overall, a great place for the money. The location alone is worth the money, but the hotel was also clean with friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice personnel, nice room and excellent meals, especially the included breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel is very interesting, making it possible for a walk to Wangfujing ave every night, and close to Tiananmen Place and the Forbidden City. You feel like not in the middle of the crowd but close enough.

It's very nice to have a piano player every night at the Wine bar, but please have the piano tuned! Also, I have a friend who was staying on the 11th floor and was frustrated that the "free printing for up to 10 pages at the business center" rule was not recognized by all attendants, so he had to pay for printouts depending on who was behind the counter.

This hotel is a very nice place to stay thanks to its location and exquisite personnel. For us, the un-tuned piano is very hard to hear every night in the lobby: the piano players are very good, especially on Friday night, but please have the piano tuned as it is not a very difficult and expensive task!

Hotel Feature Tip : Take the time to sit in the Wine Bar and enjoy the view on the lobby while listening to the piano, it's quite a relaxing moment.

Environment clean. Very convenient to where

Smaller rooms, massage parlors downstairs bad service, high cost, to do good, the project small.

Accessibility to Wangfujing only 10 minutes away. Hotel was very clean, service good attitude, very friendly. Taxis are also easily done, if the next opportunity to Beijing, or to live in this hotel. Only the massage parlors downstairs poor service. Also less.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bird's Nest, Water Cube really do not get. Just outside the building on it. Far as buying a place, not first-class service. Nothing inside, very dirty
