Pleasant enough stay - Room was comfortable. Hotel was set a little way back from a traditional street. Ideally located for the Forbidden City and Jinshang park.

Staff members barely speak English and are not very helpful or friendly (except for the smiley guy running the traveling desk). The room gets properly cleaned though and is fine to stay in even though it turned out to be smaller than the description of it according to Agoda.

Small room, poor staff performance,far from subway

This Hotel was overpriced, we paid for a 24sqm room but were given a mere 17-18sqm room, so the description was inaccurate and misleading. Despite being located nearby the Forbidden city, you still have to get a cab to go to the South entrance. The surrounding area is not very nice, there is a messy local market across the road where they sell fruits and veggies, a 24x7 minimarket etc, but you won't find good restaurants around.The location is inconvenient for public transport, about 20mins walk to MTR Dongsi Line 6. Watch out for taxi drivers who try to charge you Y50-80 for a short ride, always ask for meter before you jump in a cab.
The room is small though clean, nice design but we really missed a table or desk to eat or use a laptop.
Staff performance was from poor to very bad, they still do the job but make you feel unwelcomed. Excepting for the nice and friendly guy at the cafe, Anyway, stay somewhere else if possible!
