Lee Garden Apartment, Beijing

Unfortunately we saw little snow during our week away over the Christmas break, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lee Gardens. The two bedroom apartment we booked for our family of three was very spacious and well appointed. After struggling through the bitterly cold weather typical for Beijing in December, it was fantastic to be able to return to the warmth and comfort of our rooms and order room service. The gym and pool area were frequented by the three of us and we found the facilities perfectly adequate. The staff were helpful, particularly the doormen, who always seemed to be able to find us a taxi. We had friends staying at the nearby Hilton and they were advised to go onto the street and hail one themselves. The location of the Lee Gardens is ideal as you are placed in central Beijing with most sights within walking distance. Considering the size of the apartment I believe the accommodation represented value for money.

I would recommend this hotel to families or people who like to be independent travellers. There is a room service option, but also an option of making breakfast and snacks in the kitchenette. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Any requests were dealt with very quickly and efficiently and there was always a big welcome home from the doorman. We were within walking distance of several big shopping areas and malls and the hotel runs a shuttle service each day to other shopping and tourist destinations.

Location is good I give it 5.0 point. Room cleaning still have chance to improve I give it 4.0 point. Water temperature at shower room near by swimming pool is not consistent. I give it 2.5 point. Receptionists and door men were very professional. I give the service for 4.8 point.
