it is just OK hotel with a reasonable location
Close to subway, quite near to main shopping and quite convenient to move around

The food in the hotel is not good at all. One would expect more. Hotel is rather old and dated now but room is clean. We stayed at the suite but the Premier Lounge is not done properly. We were also overcharged for the buffett dinner as my 8 years old daughther who is charged half priced. In the end, she paid almost the same price as us. The manager insist this is the policy of the hotel and in China.

its great to check into Novotel, the comfort level is expected, the not so great thing with this branch was the internet, it seems high speed but still not good enough as it delayed my work hours, even though the staff were quick to fix it, it was a real nuisance. easy access to train, and also banks for currency exchange, and walk a little further, a shopping district presents itself.

Pleasant and clean
Very well located, right next to a subway station and close to the central tourist areas (forbidden city etc). Rooms were small but clean and very good value for money.
