WALKING DISTANCE TO TIANNANMEN SQUARE,IMPERIAL PALACE & SHOPPING MALL.
I stayed at Novotel Xin Qiao Hotel Beijing for 4 nights.It is close to Tiannanmen Square(about 15 minutes walking)& other tourist sites.Shopping mall is few minutes walking from the hotel.Subway stop is right outside of the hotel(line2 &line5).Room is neat & clean & not too small.

I stayed in Tower A. A little old...
I stayed in Novotel 2 nights. Overall is satifactory. Stayed in Tower A. Although I was upgraded to a Club room, the room was a little old. Some parts of the bathroom where falling appart (shower head for instance). Be careful, internet connection as well as breakfast are not included. Good location, but avoid traffic hours if you take a taxi!

started at check in, the lobby had a strong horrible smell of something related to bathroom plumming
i was supposed to be there for 5 nights but I barely survived 1 with the same smell as the lobby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : is very central to many local attractions.
