The hotel’s superb location and proximity to the subway makes it a perfect base for exploring the city’s many attractions. The Dongsishitiao metro station is a mere two-minute walk from the hotel. A visit to important historical sites such as Tiananmen Square and Imperial Palace will only take around ten minutes in a taxi. Shoppers’ paradise Wangfujing Avenue will take about the same amount of time. The eye-catching design of the hotel is a sight in itself! Heavily influenced by architecture from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the front of the hotel resembles an ancient Chinese palace. Friendly staff and 2 minutes from the subway.
1. No elevator
2. My non-smoking room has a ashtray!
3. Old everything...time for some renovation

The staff did their best to help the guests. Nevertheless, this hotel is simply too old and outdated. The location is fantastic, but you may be better off with a cleaner and newer hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you have the exact change for the taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. Many taxi drivers will act dumb and try to keep the change. Many people will try to screw you as much as they can. There is no tipping for taxi drivers in China. Your ride should be 67RMB plus 10RMB for the highway toll. Anything more your driver is trying to rip you off.
