- Free wired internet (wireless is only available in common areas of the hotel)
- Gym and pool facilities - a 10 minute walk from closest subway station (Wangfujing)
- only one non-smoking floor; smoking is allowed in all common areas of the hotel (e.g. halls, dining area) At the last minute, we booked Sunworld Dynasty hotel through the Agoda website. We stayed for five nights and the service we received is on par with standards of a five star foreign-own hotels (e.g. Sheraton). Most staff could communicate in English, which was helpful. (Not a lot of locals in the city can speak/understand English so it was nice to be able to speak our first language at the end of the day). Complimentary bottles of water were provided every day. We had a fair size room with a king bed. Bathroom was also a nice size with a shower and a bathtub. Turn down service was a nice touch. Note that there is only one non-smoking floor. Gym and pool facilities were also very good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We hired a private driver/hotel car for a day to see the Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Cost was $900 RMB - very expensive. A local friend advised that the cost should be about $600 RMB. If you can speak Mandarin, we suggest you negotiate with taxi cabs.

Clean, Well fitted rooms with modern amenities, centrally located, but most of all priced right The Hotel has a limited capability to deal with non Chinese speaking guests
Food was OK, but not memorable. Blending Eastern and Western offerings has not worked.
Both sets of lifts should go to L1! Sunworld Dynasty is a clean, comfortable hotel with a large central Atrium for the guest floors. The space and feel are not evident on entry, but the Atrium is great place to have a drink or a meal. All of the rooms face courtyard or street views and are equipped with large flat screen TV's, modern bathroom. You need to practice your Chinese language skills as only a few of the staff have good English language. As for value for money it is four stars - good for business or holiday with free internet, good rates and centrally located.
Shopping Tip : The recent developments have destroyed a lot of the local character, but a quick trip down to a Hautong Street is great. For a bargain, it now takes a 1/2hr cab ride to Silk St Market - but you ned to negotiate hard

Modern, comfortable rooms. Firendly staff. Central location. A better understanding of English by the staff, things that would normally take a few minutes to solve would take too long. I have stayed at the hotel on many occassions, I have found the location to be extremely handy for both business and liesure. The rooms are very clean and modern, the amentities provided are exceptional.
The restaurants provides high quality meals.
Overall the hotel provides a value for money experience.
Highly recommend this hotel for either business or holiday traveller.
