Walking distance to School of Economics. Very convenience for those studying there. The Hotel is also located near MRT station, approximately 10 minutes walk to "East Gate of Peking University" station. Hotel staff is helpful and responsive as and when you need their helps.

The only aspect which is slightly disappointing for a 5-star hotel is that staff are not fluent in English. They just do it with some difficulties. Somewhat far away from the main touristic attractions downtown, but in the way to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace.

Solo travelers Singapore, March 17, 2012	lakeview aka peking uni boya international hotel modern and clean hotel 8.3 hotel is conveniently located near peking university and highly recommended for parents visiting their children studying there. there is a subway station that is less than 10 mins walk away that provides connectivity. hotel and its amenities are modern and clean though the pillows could be better (they are too soft) and the quilt blanket is a bit too warm. still, the room is decent sized the other is wifi connection. i brough my ipad and not laptop so i needed a router for my room but they were all loaned out. went down to use the free wifi at the lobby and was quickly connected. however, none of my whatsapp messages were sent. that's connectivity indeed!! Hotel Feature Tip: Good to stay away from the hustle and bustle of city if you want peace and serenity since the hotel is within the Peking University campus. The univesity and its vicinity is worth a visit.

Couples Netherlands, March 31, 2012	hotel met min punten dichtbij zomerpaleis 4.3 de reservering was suite, we kregen een twee persoonskamer met de mededeling dat dit een suite is, Teveel betaald dus. de kamer was een rokerskamer met sterke rook geur. Na aandringen zou er gespoten worden, doch na nochmaals aandringen een rookvrije kamer gekregen. het is een rookvrij hotel, maar er wordt rustig in de openbare ruimte gerookt. Na een klacht kregen we het simpele antwoord: "dit is china". Let op met het verkeer. Reken rustig op een uur extra vanwege de verkeerschaos die 's morgens al om 07.30 begint. De airport is op ruim een uur afstand! Taxi ongeveer 120 RMB. Onze taxi reservering bij het hotel liep mis omdat de receptie iemand anders met onze taxi wegstuurde. Na 15 minuten kwam er een andere taxi, maar toen was de verkeerschaos al begonnen. Toch nog op tijd gelukkig. Eten in het hotel is volgens westerse prijzen. Buiten de deur eten is een faktor 10 goedkoper, als je een chinees restaurant kunt vinden. Er is er een op 200 meter afstand aan de weg naar het zomerpaleis. Er is in de omgeving -niets-te doen. Op loopafstand 10 minuten een park.
Yujiro M. Business travelers Japan, July 03, 2012	予約が入っていませんでした。ホテルには満足。また利用したいと思う。 8 7月1日チェックインの際に，予約・支払いの確認がとれない（通知が来ていない）といわれ，困った。御社にメールで確認を求め，2日に対応いただいたが，最初は現地での正規料金を要求され，非常に不安だった。8月も利用するが，今後はこのようなことがないように十分に対応してほしい。
