What I like about staying at Tian Rui is its proximity to WangFuJing. The attractive pricing, the friendliness of the staff, the facilities in the room and the size of the room are the other plus points. As the hotel is located along a small road, it is not easy to get a cab. The quality and range of breakfast items could be improved. I like the hotel as the facilities and service are comparable to the more expensive hotels. The staff are friendly as well. However, it would be good if maps and brochures are made available in English. On the whole, I had enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Beijing.
Restaurant Tip : There is a good range of restaurants around the hotel. The food is cheap and and service is good as well.

Size and location, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. The staff at the Tian Rui is so friendly and helpful that you feel like you're staying with family. There is always someone with adequate English skills on staff. We were there on two different occasions in July 08 and found the rooms to be spacious, beds comfortable, air-conditioning great with the very hot and humid weather. We loved that is is a moderate sized hotel tucked in a hutong and not a mega high-rise. You can walk to Forbidden City and to the upscale nearby walking/shopping street. You can find the craziest street food right next to the Armani Emporium. Their breakfast buffet has both Western and Eastern selections and their lounge is very comfortable.
