There is nothing to say about this hotel. It is not a five star as stated on the web, the cafe is very old and the food is no good.

Only some of the staff speaks English, but they try to get somebody if you don't get along. Nice and friendly service. We wanted to have rental umbrellas, but they don't had any (rain was really heavy that day).
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Forbidden City is within a 15-minute walk. The city center with the new department stores and the night market are 10 minutes away. Good location to have everything near.

Be sure to buy any sundries or gift items outside of the hotel. For example, a stuffed panda was 38 RMB and the same panda was priced at 48 RMB at the Beijing airport. Overall, if they work out the kinks like the pool and the desert heated facilities, this place is a great place to stay.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Wangfujing pedestrian street is great for quick food. There is a Starbucks in the mall on this section and some other great shops in the Oriental Plaza. There is a basement level ice skating rink south of Wangfuling in a mall which is a cab ride away from the hotel. Morning weekly rates are only 25 RMB for 90 minutes of skating.
