Friendly service, but no English spoken

I arrived at this hotel very late, there was no transfer from the airport to the hotel (though I had requested it and assumed this service was available).
In the end I was given a room which was too noisy due to extensive road works; on the third day of my stay I was given another room which was quieter, being less exposed to the street noise.
