The service was expetional, the staff were efficient, curious, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well appointed. A little noise from the road below but not at a level to disturb. The hotel is just a short walk from the central square which is well worth an evening visit and is a good base for seeing other sights.
The pool was lovely, clean and quiet with a pool suitable for young children too. The breakfast was good, with western and Chinese on offer. Certain tables in the restraunt have a direct view of the playroom so once the kids have eaten you can eat yours while the children enjoy the clean playroom.
We left wishing we could have stayed longer.

Not a hotel, more an apartment

This is a service apartment with a mini kitchen and washing machine tug in a room. The pool and gym is open 24 hrs a day so you can use it if you have time hanging out in the hotel. Hassle free (no signup, password etc) wifi is fast. you can even access facebook, youtube from china...how cool is that?

It was great, many cable TV channels accesses, Bloomberg TV, CNN...etc.
There's also a TV which you can control inside the bathroom too.
Great staff with very good english communication skills

Comfortable stay with friendly attentive staff
Well equiped self contained apartments, friendly attentive staff and a nice pool and gym area but with only basic gym equipment

We stayed for 2 weeks and the apartment was very adequate for this, but no lounge chair if you wanted to watch TV so you have to sit on the bed. There are enough cooking utensils to prepare your own food – but no large pot if you want to prepare pasta or something similar. There is a supermarket across the road and another western style supermarket (with better quality food) only 10 min walk towards the centre of the city. The washing machine was fantastic and they replaced the washing powder whenever it ran low. Unfortunately I became sick during my stay (nothing to do with the hotel) and the staff was very helpful and supplied us with a thermometer and as much bottled water as we needed day or night. I have been to Chengdu before and if you are going to stay for more than a few days I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The only negative is the restaurant. An adequate breakfast is provided in the restaurant but the room service menu and restaurant dining is average at best.

A pleasant stay in a central location

Had a good stay at the Fraser Suites. Room was large and clean. Location was excellent, about 5 minutes walk from the subway station. The Frasers staff were extremely helpful in arranging transport. Would stay again.

Always pleased with my stay

This was my second stay at this hotel and I would return. I've not found anything negative about the locations and only positives. The room is clean and large. The staff are friendly and the breakfast although not incredibly large has a good selection.
