The hotel provided texi booking for us. The hygiene of the room is good and the breakfast is acceptable. Overall comment on the quality of the services and the room environment are positive. Bus-stop is quite close to the hotel.

good quality hotel and very reasonable price
the breakfast was sensational

the hotel was excellent standard 4 star hotel. i was accompanied by my chinese wife so we had no problems communicating with the hotel staff. our air conditioner did not work otherwise its was a very good room and an enjoyable stay.
Restaurant Tip:
the Pizza Hut nearby was a great meal.

Old hotel & poor location

Reception staff at the hotel were not friendly & difficult to hail a cab at the hotel due to it's poor location.
I was pissed off & check out 1 day earlier ( the reception staff told me I have to pay half day's extra room rate without checking that I am in fact checking out 1 day earlier !!

well maintained hotel and rooms - morning breakfast was excellent, particularly wide variety of chineese and western selection - i stayed there for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay as the room service staff kept my room very clean and also informed me about the weather and asked whether i needed any additional blankets, pillows as it was very cold. staff at the reception understand english and ready to offer assistance when needed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit Loshan and Panda Sanctuary if possible

when the 3 of us arrived with all of our luggage, the two conceirge men just looked at us as we struggled up the front stairs. they opened the door for us but that was the extent of their service. they can not speak english and also do not help you order taxis. they appear to just be there for looks.
the rooms itself was nice enough with a thin screen tv, clean bathroom and enough room for the 3 of us. however, he had to request our extra bed and toweling twice before it eventually came.
the worst problem we had was the lack of communication/lack of english spoken by the staff. make sure to keep all your valuables safe as although we left the 'do not disturb' sign on the door, when we came back during the day, we found the house maids in our room.
the included breakfast is ok, but not very western at all.
the beds are also rock hard by western standards.
overall, the room itself is ok, but the service leaves a bit to be desired.

Lighting in room too dark, we can't read anything in room. This is an unpleasant point. And the customer service in check in counter are no smile or not friendly, they working like a robot. We felt that our question or request really bothering them. The breakfast not meet 4 stars hotel standard.

Highly recommend hot & spice hot pot.

The rooms are big and comfortable. THe Breakfast is in chinese style but good enough. The staff is very friendly. I would come back to this Hotel if I come back to Chengdu. The price is also very acceptable!
