Good Hotel
helpful front dest staff, good conciege, lovely rooms.

The hotel staff made our stay at this hotel enjoyable. The front desk helped us on check in and made sure we had the rooms near each other. The conciege helped us to get to the Panda reserve by giving us helpful information on getting a taxi. I would not recommend you using the travel agent in the hotel as they overcharge dramatically and even the conciege told them off.

This is the first time I tried their buffet breakfast. For various reasons I had to miss breakfast on each of my previous stays and after this exerience, I will never skip breakfast again.
The western+chinese full buffet breakfast was very well done. Plenty of variety and there was also live made-to-order cooking of noodles and omlettes which are my favourites.

Great Hotel at very convenient location

The hotel is situated at a very convenient location to the business areas, entertainment/dining areas and fronting nice river views. The rooms are nice and quite spacious and well equipped for business travellers.
The negative side is that the concierge services are quite a let down as my requests to get a taxi to the airport have not been well attended to. In short, the hotel has all the hardware well in place but the "software" side has room for improvement.

Booking problem still resolved

Despite Agoda not sending my booking request to the hotel, the hotel staff at the reception was still able to be flexible and arrange for my return stay. They trusted that I have made payment even though they have not received the booking from Agoda. Because of the delay in check-in, they also upgraded my room. Was happy with their service.
This is an area that Agoda needs to improve on. I made a late booking and received email confirmation, but the hotel did not receive the corresponding information. This is the second time a hotel has no record of a booking I made through Agoda.

Excellent hardware, good software

this is my second visit and am still impressed by the "hardware" of the hotel, the rooms, the lobby and the facilities are all what you would expect of a five star hotel. Staff are professional and responsive.
However getting a taxi is still a problem given the one way street outside the hotel. If going to the airport, suggest allowing extra time to wait for a taxi.

stay two nights, general environment is good and rooms are clean and spacious. front desk staff are helpful and there is a complimentary bowl of fruit on arrival. about 10 to 15 mins walk to nearest metro station.
however early in the mornings, i got woken up by passers by in the corridor as the sound insulation is not that good. also getting to the hotel is difficult because it is on a one way street off the busiest renmin south rd. difficult also to hail taxis because of this.
overall a decent hotel in a decent location.
