New just open over a year; rooms spacious. Free wifi offered to guests in public area. Location. Taxi drivers could not locate it even when given the map. Quiet area mainly commercial, no restaurants & shopping nearby. Not suitable for tourists as it is far from most tourist sites.We asked for concierge services to help arrange some sightseeing but could not help as the personel were not trained nor do they have the contacts. Breakfast is expensive but the buffet dinner is good & reasonable priced.
Restaurant Tip : Try the local small restaurants that serve mini lobster hot pot with ice cold Chongqibg beer,20 minutes down the road. Cheap and delicious and very Sichuanese!

very modern facility in a newly developed part of Chongqing with professional service A bit far from the City Center, but ok if you have to do business in the north of CQ When we stayed at the Jinjiang Oriental over a weekend for short stint to Chongqing, we were offered a superb room for a very inexpensive price. The hotel is only open since October 2008 and all the facilities and room amenities are modern and conform international level.
The service is very friendly as one expects in Sichuan. Food and beverages in the different restaurants are also very nice.
