3 star hotel exclusively for Chinese Tourists

my deluxe room with king bed looked as if its decoration dated back 25 years. not very nice, and view on a wall. when i entered, there was quite a strong smell of tobacco inside despite the fact i had requested a non-smoking room. but no other room was available on the 2nd floor, and i was told that the 1st floor rooms were very noisy because of the footsteps of the people walking on non-carpeted floor-board above, so i stayed and aired the room.
noone speaks english in this hotel (or just a few words). the waitress at breakfast only spoke mandarin, so i went with her to the kitchen to show her what i wanted to eat. the choice was quite limited as only chinese breakfast was available. no tost, fruit, jam, cereals... noodle soop and chinese bread.
quite a cheap hotel, so i wasn't expecting marvels. and this is exactly what happened

Très bel hôtel, bien situé.

Hôtel splendide, belles chambres...
Personnel très peu serviable, personne ne parle l'anglais!
Plusieurs heures pour leur faire comprendre que nous avions réservé sur Agoda!!!
Aucune possibilité de trouver un petit-déjeuner "continental"!
Et pas de restaurant...

Krásný hotel umístěný v centru starého města

V hotelu jsme strávili pouze jednu noc. Přijeli jsme však v den ubytování již v 9 hod. dopoledne a dostali jsme pokoj bez čekání k dispozici. Takže jsme se po nočním přejezdu vlakem z Kunmingu do Dali mohli osprchovat a trochu odpočinout. Milý a ochotný personál.
