Centrally located, quiet, clean. Great value

This hotel was just what we needed after arriving in Dali late night after riding in a bus for 4 hours. Centrally located but tucked away in an alley, we didn't hear much noise except for a really loud rooster in the morning and a funny little mocking bird that would constantly imitate the sound of a car backing up. Pretty darn good for China I'd say…The internet was good and the staff was very nice. However, some staff member's English skills and pro-activeness were better than other's. On a few occasions it royally messed up our travel plans. Having lived in China for a few years, we should have known to be better prepared. It was a real pain to remedy, but in the end we got it sorted. Luckily there is computer in the lobby with decent internet speed where you can look up schedules and activities on your own. There are no food services in the hotel, but there are plenty of places nearby. Aside from the sometimes frustratingly slow but super sweet and friendly hotel staff, the place was great. Our room was gigantic, and so was the bathroom. Hot water was available at all times and for long periods of time. You can walk up to the rooftop and get a nice view of the town. I would highly recommend it to anybody.

Just a few steps removed from the main Dali shopping street, hotel offers nice spacious and quiet rooms. Within a few minutes walk, many of the City's main attractions are available to you and dependent on your dining and adventurous preferences, your scrumptious eight dish meal for two can be as modest as RMB 120 for two. The hotel has one English speaking staff and even if not on duty, he will come at five minutes notice to help with all your translation needs. Want to venture a bit out of town, I fondly remember the tourist guide AFY at phone 13887213408 with basic English skills to make communication possible. I mention this as the hotel otherwise at time of visit did not have tourist guide contacts.
Enjoy this vibrant city with perfect year round weather...
Shopping Tip:
Always bargain, make your first counter offer at less than half of asking price and pretend to walk away if shop keeper plays hard ball...

In a quiet location of the main strip but within easy walking distance of everything.very well appointed rooms.large and comfortable beds.clean huge bathroom.staff spoke limited English but tried to be helpful.would definitely stay there again.

Lovely place, spectacular price

After 3 weeks traveling through China and booking all hotels through Agoda, this was the place we were happiest with. Situated in the old town just a few meters off the main street, this hotel is simple but beautiful, looks totally new (2012) and is built in traditional style. Staff were helpful.

Just a few minutes walk to pedestrian street where you can find everything. The room is fully equipped and well maintainance. A few problems are about inadequate english-speaking staff and no breakfast available.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don;t choose the room next to the stairs, so noisy!

メインの通りから少し外れているのでとても静か。
英語がいまいち伝わらない。それから、ホットシャワーの出るのが何故か遅かった。１０分近くかかった。でも総合的にいいホテルでした。
