Liked it so much I extended my stay

I enjoyed my stay so much I decided to extend it one further day instead of returning to Hong Kong one day earlier. The English barrier still exists to a degree. The staff try to do the right thing generally but still struggle with requests that are any thing more than simple. Overall my nicest experience in GZ hotel stays.

this was a delightful hotel which was a significant step up from the standard hotels around the gz city centre. i have previously stayed at the holiday inn and the ocean hotel which are both in the same proximity. the baiyun hotel is light years ahead of both of these other hotels.
the gymnasium is a little tiny but the pool and spa is great.
breakfast was excellent with many options in both western and eastern style foods.
my bed sheets (on the bed as opposed the the cover) could have done with a change. if i told the cleaning staff, i'm sure it would have been done.

Good for shopping bad for relaxing, staf profissional to get ur nurvs.

Nice hotel nothing fancy. I stay here as the rates are competitive...but now they have increased it somewhat that's not good...they must stay at maximum 90 usd a night if not less as their key is location ....overall satisfying and they should spruce up their lobby and other areas to make it newer...overall good so go stay there if u want.

I stay here most of the time I'm in Guangzhou as it's well located for me.....I use to live in the area nearby called Tao Jin Lu and I feel good in the area....I will stay here again and again provided the rates stay competitive...I also recommend the hotel staff to be more well versed with the English language and become international in the way the handle their guest as they still a bit immature....but have potential...if the owner takes a serious look into the hotel they stand a good change of staying a strong competitor to the garden hotel across the street....I wish them well !
