This business hotel specializes in catering for international visitors to the annual Canton Fair and is only a short drive away from the venue. The impressive building is directly opposite to the 70 hectare Tianhe Garden and offers fantastic views of the modern city park. Each of the 155 rooms are spacious and feature air conditioning, television with satellite channels and reliable broadband internet. The first floor houses the western style restaurant which offers a daily buffet breakfast and international favorites throughout the day. There is also a Cantonese restaurant on the second floor that offers traditional Hunan cuisine, as well as tables overlooking the beautiful Tianhe Garden.

Friendly but food for Westerners not good

The lack of vegetables and salads for lunch and dinner was desperately missing. Buffet breakfast was ok but they need some advice on Western tastes also. Fried food and sweet foods for dinner was too much and not enough healthy foods. Tea was too weak. Tianhe Park was very interesting and cultural at the same time. Markets and fruit/vegetable and meat markets also interesting.
Ironing needs some controlling as there were not enough to go around and people were holding them in rooms. Need stricter controls over it or supply each room with iron and ironing board. Very friendly staff who did their best.

I stayed here during my trip to Canton Fair 2013. I have been to guangzhou many times, the Daysun Ritz hotel is okay, but rooms are very small, for twin sharing.
