This recently renovated hotel features over 300 modern guestrooms and is just a short drive from the Canton Fair Pazhou Complex. I came accross this hotel on the Internet and it was a good experience. It is a mid range hotel with good facilities, that is good for both a businessman and for the backpackers who would like to enhance their usual budget hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Great Muslim restaurant just on the way to the metro station (walk out of the hotel to the main street, turn left and you'll see it on your left side).

This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Golden Bridge Hotel and it will not be the last. The staff is friendly even though I did not understand what they were saying most of the time. It is only 10-15 minutes away by cab from the train station to Hong Kong. Only thing that I didn't like this time was that the bed was way too hard for my liking.
Shopping Tip : There is a Circle K just around the corner as well as a bakery shop to stock up on tissues and snacks.
