Spacious renovated rooms, great location, dual street frontage hotel, large ambient foyer, easy access to bustling Beijing rd, staff were excellent, concierge helpful. only weakness were the hard beds, but some may like, not my style, would be good if they had coffee in rooms, but you may be able to ask. Nightlife Tip : experience some local side street eateries and learn how to say basic things like fried rice, beer, grilled chicken, bill please, what do you recommend, how much? etc. This will get you through as English is not understood or spoken here, but the locals a great and will welcome you, be courteous. As for shopping don't trust anyone who tries to sell you phones or anything else on the street, they will show you a working model and swap to a dummy without you realizing upon giving money. At markets all items are not genuine, check for misspelling and halve their asking prices and walk away, they will call you back. Hope this helps.

The reservations was done efficiently and the hotel vouchers were honoured immediately. Before I went to China, I wrote to the hotel to ask for confirmation on my reservations. All this was done with ease. Well done, Agoda!
Shopping Tip : Everytime, a change is give to you, check it carefully to see that it is a genuine note. Shopping is fantastic here, but they close too early.
