Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Location to Restaurants
Location to the river
Location to the MTR
Well located business hotel. The restaurants around have a good variety. about 200metres from the MTR. Shopping areas are also a short walk. Being near the river also allows for evening walks. The service is prompt as there is someone at each level looking after the requirements of staff. The staff spoke good English and service was prompt. The hotel stores are well-stocked. Cleanliness needs to improve on the carpets in the room and the hotel lobby toilet. Breakfast on the 39th floor is a great way to start the day as you can see the weather conditions and the traffic.
Restaurant Tip : Walk to 1920, great German restaurant with good cold draft beer.

Work-out facilities for business people. Swimming pool for the wary traveller. VEcxellent hair/beauty salon in the hotel. Great Chinese resturant for dinners. Good services at the hotel's travel agency by the hotel grounds.
Internet hook-up not very adequate - slow and at times cannot connect to the hotel's network. I had to call in their service maintanance to assit in my hook-up where I could have done it on my own at other hotels.
Reception staff are too occupied with large tour groups check-ins than to the individual business traveller.
There is no visible coffee shop in the hotel where guest can get a snack or light meal. I didn't know there was an eatery at the penthouse / top floor until the last day of my stay - the hotel staff did not mention that there is a coffee shop in the hotel when I enquired. I recommand better staff training to inform guests what facilities the hotel offers rather than have the guests try to figure out where everything are.
* Better English speaking staff training to inform guests what facilities the hotel offers espcially when the guests do not read Chinese.
* Besides a great Chinese resturant, I suggest a more visiable and advertised coffee shop where guests can obtain a light meal. I had trouble locating a coffee shop in the hotel as the hotel staff didn't even know there is a western style eatery up at the penthouse / top floor. I didn't find out until the last day of my 3-days stay.
* The hotel will do great if their internet hook-up service is better equipped to accomodate foreign speaking guests.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's great that there is a travel agent right by the side of the hotel. Unfortunately, the travel agent staff cannot speak any English to assist me with my sight seeing plans. Since I speak Cantonese and a little Manderin I understood what the agent said but because I don't read Chinese, and they don't have any foreign speaking staff or pamphlets that can inform me - I was unable to use their services. Their staff are used to serving local or Chinese speaking tourists groups - there was a look of surprise when a single person like me who walks in to enquire about their tour offers. I didn't feel comfortable being there as all the staff turned and stared at me as they are not use to serving a single walk in enquiry.
