this is our 1st time to stay at jianguo hotel. at first, we booked at standard room but due to the room is too small to accommodate us, we were upgraded to much bigger room without charge. hotel's location is very excellent. guangzhou subway station and bus terminal are across the street. on the basement of the station, there are department store, supermarket and restaurant. breakfast is very good. the room is very clean.

Executive room does not come with free breakfast. Better to book superior king with breakfast as on comparison executive room does not give value for money considering that breakfast cost RMB169 per person. Room booklet for hotel stated complimentary breakfast for executive room yet Agoda did not provide for this in the hotel charges.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The circus show at ChimeLong is worth a visit. Enjoyed every minute of the 2 and a half hour show.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread is good, I asked for a hot honey and they are happy to serve. The room is clean and the location is pretty convenient, nearby is the Jusco supermarket, you can easily get what you need. I will definitely come back to stay for my next business trip, also recommend other people to stay.

This hotel is well situated right across the road from the Guangzhou East Railway Station, the staff speak good English and are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is always well above the standard for this level of hotel. More non smoking rooms would be good. I did not use any of the other hotel facilities so I can’t comment on them.
Cons the internet speed was average as was the case in most of the hotels we stayed at in China.

the lady who clean the room did a good m job, laudry service very good,,, location of hotel very easy to get around.
on the whole am glad we stayed here,
some of the staff could with learn some basic english skill.
Restaurant Tip:
head to the pearl river for food in the evening, make sure taxi aways use the meter

A good hotel in a good location
Right in the heart of Guangzhou

This hotel is a 5 star hotel with 4 star rates. I think it is excellent value for money and I have stayed there many time now. It is just a short walk to Guangzhou East metro and the location is great. The staff are friendly and helpful and most of them speak English. The rooms are very modern and well appointed. As always, I was happy with my stay.

The hotel was brilliant the room size and decor was lovely. The breakfast buffet had massive amount of choice and was excellent for both a western and asian diet. Predominately the staff were the best thing about the hotel, nothing was too difficult, they were informative about Guangzhou and always made sure our taxi driver knew were we wanted to go.
Travel tip:
Their are lots of poor hotels in China this is not one of them. Excellent value for money in a convenient location across the road from the bus and railway. The staff went out of their way to help us out giving us room upgrades and early check inn as well as making sure our taxi driver always new where we going. The room was stylish and extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the beauty spa was very relaxing after a long flight. Our family would stay here again in a heartbeat.
