location is great.very convenience.
Hotel is old. the room even look older. i don't think i would have any second thought about staying at this hotel again. smell ord when first walk the room.
I don't think i would reffer a friend or anyone to stay at Guangzhou Lido hotel.The hotel inside outside look old.even inside the room is old too. when you frist visit the room .it smell ord. The air-con is not function well. i mean is not cold enought. Totally not value for money.Lido hotel condition is same as EAST ASIA HOTEL.

very good (very close) location for shopping
It is a old, but good hotel. Everything is work propertly. I was booked without breakfast, but you can find many fast food restoraunts nearby. Pedestrian street is in front of the hetel.

Excellent location at Beijing Road,a major shopping destination in Guangzhou. Good Chinese restaurant within Hotel and nearby. Efficient reception and housekeeping staff. Happy to note a hotel staff was stationed on 24th Floor during Canton Fair period for security of hotel guests.
The air-conditioning on the 24th Floor Business Room that I stayed was unsatisfactory as the temperature control unit does'nt seem to be in working order. The door lock of my room was defective but was fixed within minutes of my complaint.
I will consider this hotel again when I next visit Guangzhou.
