Clean room with nice view on high floor

Nice clean room with good service at reception. But I think the air con are centralize so it get very stuffy in the middle of the night .
Shopping Tip:
Alway try to and bargain at least fifty per cent off the list price from those shop at the alley(bejing road). Food along the food street is good especially the Vietnamese restaurant "The Tiger Prawn". Normal day it take about 30 to 40 min to queue. Price is reasonable with good quality foods.

Very disappointed due to room with no air-condition and they replaced with another room also with air condition worked for couple hours then dead. Other than that everything reasonable value for money.

surrounding by shopping centre and market, also easily access for food

i always stay at lido hotel because it's easy to have halal food. This hotel near beijing lu and there is two halal restaurant here. Taxi driver can easily recognize this hotel.

Great location and excellent service
easy access from Kowloon mtr, many nice eateries ard the area and shopping too!

Our HK trip started with us traveling down from Shenzhen. We took a bus to Kowloon mtr where there's an airport express service. After just 5 mins of waiting, we were on our way to the hotel. Upon reaching the hotel, the porter was very nice to actually board the bus to help us bring down our 2 very big and heavy luggage. The check-in was very quick and hassle free.
Room was nice and comfy. Most important it was clean. Transportation was very convenient with Yau Ma Tei mtr just 1 min away from the hotel. Food wise is another plus points with many popular eateries ard.
This is the 2nd time we stayed at Cityview Hotel and it definitely would not be the last one.

Try to get the room above 20th floor as the air conditional is cooler. Also, do not stay at the 10th floor as 11th is the mahjong table floor. You will hear noises till 3 am.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit the temple nearby for donation.

This is the second time that I have stayed at Lido hotel. Will always stay here as shopping is withing a 5 mins walk away. A good choice of restaurants can also be found near the hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
There is an excellent vietnamese restaurant, serving a wide variety of cuisine at reasonable price. All within a 5 mins walk away.

Old Hotel with refurbished rooms

This is my 2nd trip to Canton and I find this hotel is clean and the rooms were refurbished. The only set back I noticed is that the Reception takes a long time to register and check out guests even though there are 4 counters open. I would rate their overall performance at 5/10.
The hotel is situated at the end of Beijing Shopping Street and near the riverside and ladies street.
