Hotel in a convenient location

hotel is located near the bei jing road. no problem and short waiting time for checking in and out. walkable distance to the shopping area. roomsize was reasonable for the price. bathroom was good, shower rain section was good. visited the chinese resturant on level 6, good good with reasonable price. no problem in flagging a cab outside hotel. walkable distance to the metro station, gong yuan jian. only disadvantage is there is no wifi in the hotel.

Good location, large room, service not so good

The room was large. The beds large and clean. The toilet room nice and clean.
But some stains on the room carpet. Not proper vacuum cleaning. There was some cigarette smoke smell inside the room, coming probably from the fabrics of the furniture, curtains and carpet.
There was no cold water in the shower, wich for the first 5 minutes was ok but after that, it was quite hard to stand.
There was not a single drink in the mini bar.
Some rooms were under renovation and there was a lot of drilling noise from 8am. Not the most pleasant way to wake up.

i have stayed here for few days with my kids and mother in low, none of them complain with this hotel coz so convenience to get a taxi/bus or metro here. this is my second time to stay here. beijing road got so many delicious food and u can also buy cloths here easily. i will be back soon..
Restaurant Tip:
ing kee choo fung very famous and delicious ... don't miss it ...

Located in the busy area, easy to find good food in the surrounding. and since we book for business room, it is newly renovated room, so I'd say it is good hotel considering the price paid (worth for the value)

Superb location with average rooms
Located at Beijing road where you can do all your shopping.

Front desk was polite and helpful. Was solo but booked a double as it was cheaper. Room was a little small and the tap was not working properly and it choked after awhile. Called for assistance but no one turned up after 15 minutes and called front desk and still no one turned up. Open the door and ask cleaner for assistance and she said she will request for someone to help me but no one turned up after 15 minutes. Seriously, getting rather fed up from here. Called and scolded the manager and finally someone came to assist. Poor service from hotel staff. Was very noisy in the morning and door was thin and looked old. No safe in room so felt liked i should take my valuables when i go out. Hotel about 10 minutes walk from gongyuanqian metro station.Stay at this hotel only if you want to go shopping and there to meet frineds or eat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk further down and you will reach the pearl river. The sight is nice at night and is a good stroll. There is a claypot rice shop along the way and it is excellent. Old school and rather than the restaurants and fast food, this is the type of food you want to try when you are overseas, the real authentic chinese food.

Great Location but not too great hotel

Lido hotel location is very strategic. You can easily found food near the hotel and street shopping.
The Business room is newly renovated, so it is clean and not smelly.

Newly Renovated Rooms
Conveniently located, excellent Chinese Restaurant on Level 6

stayed in the newly renovated rooms. look more modern
& all items work. room service improved, but they should
have a box of face tissue in each room.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the Tim Sum on Level 6, one of the best that I have tasted.

Convenient, just beside the Bejing Lu walking street

Lighting in the room is inadequate
Room is comfortable but a litte bit too dim.
No Smoking Rule does not apply in the hotel
People are smoking everywhere, in the rooms, lift lobby, restaurant, toilets, etc
Clean Room
Room is clean and comfortable
Shopping Tip:
Check out the prices first before buying.

Great hotel and nice hotel

Nice hotel and clean value for money. Just across the road to Beijing Road very convenience. To GongYuan Qian station about 10mins walk.
Shopping Tip:
Bargain till the price you satisfy, just walk away they will lower price again.
