Very good service, the staffs are all very polite and helpful.Not many restaurant near the hotel but very easy to travel to other part of the city as the train station is just within walking distance.It is very convenient for shoppers as it is located beside the wholesale market for fashion,shoes, leather bag and watches.

Guangzhou most convenience hotel in the city!
Underground train, buses, Great wholesale location left right and center around this hotel!

i booked a standard room and got upgraded to a excutive room. very quiet and very clean room! in room computer and internet is in the room and it is free!! awesome! this hotel is in the middle of all the wholesale shops and underground train station and buses - from the hotel to them only less than 100 steps!
only one down fall is the conciege has no idea of anything about the city. i find it strange, it is his job to know. but no worries, go the reception there is a book shelve just next to the desk of the assistant manager - there are plenty of very helpful brochure about guangzhou and how to get around with full details!!! which lane on train to catch and where to get off and the best thing is they even tell you where and who sells what!!
will be back to this hotel for sure if i ever come back to guangzhou and stock up.

I don't expect much from hotels in china that are not 5-star so I actually enjoyed my stay at Liu Hua hotel. It's very accessible. The food is just pricy for what they serve, so I didn't eat there at all. There are a lot of restaurants nearby.
Restaurant Tip:
A must-try is Macau Street Restaurant in Dong Fang Hotel, just a 10rmb taxi ride.

Reception was wonderful, with warm reception from porters and reception staff. Rooms were clean and up to standard. i enjoyed the complementaty water, slippers. aircon and bar fridge worked well for us.
Flexibility of Mcdonald just by the door of the hotel was very convinient. Maids were promt and helpful.

this hotel is located in the heart of gz,the chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor is quite expensive and the food quality is poor.the gym is not good at all.on the day i checked out,i was stuck in the jammed rotating door at the entrance of hotel for 5 minutes,and the staff at the door seem like blaming me.on the desks of the reception there is a promotion sign stating:earn miles while you sleep for krisflyer members,since i am a member i ask the staff for this,but the answer is that if only i book this hotel via "world hotel" i would be given the miles.
