Historical hotel, good location and facing a rather picturesque view of the bund across the road. Rooms are ok and clean. Room cleaning are prompt every day. Hotel services are ok but don't expect smiley faces.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We went to the Bright Filial Piety Temple and saw a few bogus monks in front of the temple. One was bold enough and keep harassing us to give him some money. Real monks won't do that. We bumped into him 2 times. The second time, he got bolder and followed us for a few minutes until I shouted at him to stay away from us. That helps, he walked off quickly.

not working heater, nice bed, great view of pearl river, not clean enough but the price is cheap, near bus station, at the back of the hotel you can find minimarket, drug store, discotique, restourant. i think i get what i paid

Great Historic Hotel
The hotel is just infront of the Pearl River

The hotel may be old but historic. One of the oldest buildings in Guangzhou. Going to the nearest mtr station may take some time (around 10-min walk), but if you walk beside the pearl river which is just in front of the hotel, in a way, help you forget the distance. The room size is quite ok and there are nearby convenience stores/food outlets in the area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Near to Pearl river, great for sight seeing, minutes walk to electronic and cloth wholesale market

Outside temperature was only 6-10 degree, but the air heater was not functioning well so we were cold and freezing in the hotel room. Bath room : It took a long while around 10 minutes for the hot water heater to boil up, wasting times. Not convenient for subway traveler, you need to walk around 10-15 minutes to subway.
