This hotel is located near the financial district and merely minutes away from the new Guangzhou International Convention Center.

Situated 30 minutes from Bai Yun International Airport, this urban oasis allows easy access to several tourist attractions. The Pazhou Convention Centre where the “Canton Fair” was held, can be reached through a 5-minute walk. Worth visiting are The Grandview and Teemall on Tianhe Road, the biggest shopping malls in the city. Also, guests can take a memorable ride on the Pearl River Night Cruise and enjoy the scenic views. To cater to business travelers, there are up to eight highly convenient function rooms. Recreational facilities are provided, including a gym, sauna, pool and a welcoming spa. There are many dining options on-site, offering Italian, Japanese and Chinese cuisines. A hotel perfectly located for guests to experience all that the city has to offer.

Location, close to the Canton Fair expo. Superb views from all sides of the hotel. Very practical mini market @ hotel premises. Great service from all staff.

nothing around except Canton fair expo. Metro exit not very close to hotel. Reception was not very discreet in trying to push sell room upgrades. No wifi, very unusual & unpleasent when relying on Iphone & Blackberry

When checking into the Shangri La you cannot help not having very high expectations. In many ways this Guangzhou establishment meets them, however if you are not attending the Canton Fair this hotel is still in the middle of nowhere. (not for long by the amount of new developments still being built around). Also when compared to other Shangri La's around the Asia it seems a bit sterile. I enjoyed my stay there & would stay again but only during the fair.

Nightlife Tip : Hotel should have more entertainment in the evenings since it is in a remote location
