The hotel was very comfortable and staff was very nice; most of them were speaking French; or at least a few words. Once back from the fair, you can really enjoy the place and relax before a new crazy day.

Overall it was a nice hotel, staffs are friendly but some of them can’t speak English. I like the swimming pool and the bath tub in the room most. Yet it was disappointing of the Chinese restaurant we went for dinner, we found a piece of broken glass measured about 2.5cm with 0.3cm thickness!!! It was terrible….. luckily we had found out before we tasted anything, but the impression was poorly given immediately. The manager asked us to choose another dish and only gave us 10% off and a small dessert + fruit. Could have done better for a 5-star hotel.

The room is amazing , huge and comfortable , hotel staff very helpful and well trained. The swimming pool , spa and fitness facilities are excellent . Hotel location also good , near the business district of Tian He.

After arriving on a 1am flight, the Sofitel was like an oasis to arrive at. The room was much larger than expected and beautifully laid out. Staff were very helpful and there were plenty around to assit at all times of the day and night. All of the food we ate at the hotel was also great. Totally recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Guanghzhou. Right near the convension centre
