I always choose to stay at Springdale Service Residence rather than in a hotel when I go to Guangzhou. This deluxe bedroom option gives you a suite of rooms; well-equipped kitchen (kettle, pots and pans, microwave, fridge-freezer), bathroom, sitting/dining room with sofa, and cable TV, large bedroom with desk and small balcony with a washing machine.

Excellent Location with limited facilities

summary: will stay again due to good location and decent apartment size.
good location (via walking) - basically you are in the cbd
- mass transit station 100m away
- 7-eleven 3 minutes away
- bakery (hk chain) and kfc 5 minutes away (in victory plaza)
- japanese and teochiew / cantonese restaurant nearby (also in victory plaza)
- underground shopping mall, jusco and mcdonald 7 to 10 minutes away.
- t mall and grandview mall (some of the largest in guangzhou) is 10 to 15 mins walk away.
- hsbc premier / atm is located at the mall as well.

- my room (exec 2 bedroom - #2707) was good. furniture new etc.
- we put in a additional bed into the smaller room which we were previously told was not physically impossible. did it with some diy.
service
- front desk was helpful (we spoke in mandarin n cantonese)
- they should put the map on the foyer table to pick up,instead of letting people request for it. small matter.
- the way to drive into and out of the apartment is counter intuitive. confusion will reign first time round.
regrets
- no foot massage nearby (a personal preference after a long day of shopping).
- no local market nearby. i like looking at local life.
- only has one restn open in the morning. no swimming pool, n gym.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Make sure the slippers are supplied. Really enjoyed slipping into slippers after a long day.

Super location, well-equipped apartment
Springdale is just moments away from many of the best shopping and eating options in Guangzhou. Good facilities in the suite, eg kitchen, fridge-freezer, washing machine, separate sitting room and bedroom. Staff are welcoming.

I always choose to stay at Springdale Service Residence rather than in a hotel when I go to Guangzhou. This deluxe bedroom option gives you a suite of rooms; well-equipped kitchen (kettle, pots and pans, microwave, fridge-freezer), bathroom, sitting/dining room with sofa, and cable TV, large bedroom with desk and small balcony with a washing machine. This makes it a much better deal than a hotel, and enables you to be very independent. Cleaning staff come every day to wash up and tidy the apartment. The location is absolutely unbeatable for access to Teemall and the other new, smart malls, the underground transport system, a large bookshop with a dedicated English language section and many eateries and western coffee shops. The reception staff speak English, and are very friendly. In a big and busy city like Guangzhou, you can feel instantly at home at Springdale.
Shopping Tip:
The large bookshop nearby (Gou Shu Zhong Xin) has an extensive English section on the 4th floor.

my husband and i were in guongzhou on business. this was the first time we stayed in service apartment, we normally will choose to stay in hotel. anyway, it was a great experience for us. the location of this hotel is perfect and it's very easy to locate. there are a few famous restaurants around that vicinity, and food is delicious. mrt is just 10mins walk from the apartment. there is a huge underground shopping mall next to the mrt station. the surroundings area seems to be very safe. the only thing you might want to consider having is their buffet breakfast, very limited choice. and one more thing is the bed, very hard and uncomfortable, but i do know that most of the mattresses in china are very hard, so you just have to adapt to it. we moved to a 1 bedroom apartment 2 days later, the apartment is very spacious with very reasonable price. they provide complete service apartment amenities such as washing machine (quite a good brand), hood & hob, dishwasher, kettle, microwave oven, white ware and cutlery. we are very happy with the apartment and we will consider staying there again if we do travel to guongzhou again.
Shopping Tip:
You have to bargain, and I mean really bargain. Don't be shy, just bargain hard, you will be very surprised the price of the goods there are extremely cheap.

Convenient. Walking distance to MRT, restaurants and shopping malls. The apartment is fully equiped with cooking facilities, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and etc. Also free WIFI

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this service apartment. Great location, walking distance to MRT, shopping malls,restaurants etc. Safe environment, it's safe to walk back at night even after 11pm. We will definitely choose this apartment again if we do travel to Guongzhou again in future cos it's really value for money.
Restaurant Tip:
My advice is call early for reservation if you want to visit their famous restaurants,otherwise, you might end up waiting for hours.

Nice hotel, walking distance to shopping centres and train stations but was disappointed that for a stay of two person only one person is allow to have breakfast,and we have to pay an additional one person's b/fast so both of us have to take turn to eat out alone, wasn't it funny,? they should actually provide breakfast for both.

During the booking, ensure that the breakfast is provided for two person
