wonderful staff and fantastic food; club floor rooms are really good size and lux.
I stayed a few times at this hotel now for the location and brilliant service. They never let me down. Stayed in a a few other hotels as well but they can not be compared to Garden's. Booked a conference room on this trip and very satisfied with the facility and service. 10 out of 10!
Restaurant Tip : There is a taiwanese restaurant near the hotel. Good food there.

Really a grand Hotel, The room was very clean, The service was excellent. many nice eating places around the hotel. I would stay again
No Negatives for me it meet or surpassed all my expectaions
This Hotel is a little more costly but a truely nice experiance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The piano lounge in the evening was a nice place to relax. I did not eat there but chose to find a close local restuant of which there were many to choose from within walking distants. I only stayed one night and really enjoyed it as a business traveler.
Restaurant Tip : lots of places to eat around the hotel for much less cost.. all very close within walking distants

The quality of this hotel is as good as any place in the world, nothing like this normally in China. The rooms are great and the health club facilities are as good as any gym. The staff were very helpful in assisting with organizing parcels to other locations. They also offer free transport to and from the show and can be relied on to be where and when they say.

Breakfast, Carpet too old.
I stayed in this hotel last year and I was hoping they do something about the carpets. But unfortunately they did not do anything despite of my complains last year. The Hotel is good and the location is excellent. But they should spend some money in renovation to keep the good repetition. I was attending the furniture fair (CIFF). I will not stay in this hotel next year if they do not change the carpets.

Neat and excellent house keeping services.
Variety of restaurants.
Excellent concierge & receptionist.
Excellent security system.
Excellent location in the cc.
I enjoyed staying in The Garden Hotel as I booked the hotel online through the Agoda website.
As soon as I enter the hotel, I was amazed to its interior lobby. I sent to the hotel an Email a day earlier than our arrival so they can pick us from the airport, and they responded immediately, and a car was waiting for us at the Guangzhou Airport, and the hotel staff collected me & my wife. Later, I found they charged us almost two & half times for the hotel pick up than the normal charges.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel will allow a free late check out up to 3pm.

Nice Chinese restaurant - Lai Wan. The gym was good and the pool looked inviting.
The hotel lobby and reception area looked nice and grand but the rooms were clean but dated.
The hotel is not in the heart of things. There are a few small shopping areas around it. This hotel is not for you if you want to shop and get around easily. This hotel is not near a metro station. The rooms look more dated than the photos show. However, the gym is good and the Chinese restaurant is good too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are interesting local side streets on the street directly to the right of the hotel, starting from Starbucks down towards the end of Jian She Liu Lu.

Spa, barbecue buffé, gym, service
Poolarea no sun, little bit too expensive, the breakfast is so so.
This hotel is definetly an upper class hotel, beautiful reception area and lobby. Has to be one of Guangzhous best hotels. It takes about half an hour to get to the fair and 10 to 15 minutes to get to the shopping streets. The restaurants are excellent, though the breakfast could have been a little bit more to choose from.
Shopping Tip : On walkway bridge going over the road, at night there is always a lot brand copies sold.

In most cases nice personnel, spacious room, clean.
Smelly tab water, Internet access is charged seperately.
For Ghuangzhou standards, a good and reasonable hotel. Nice, spacious rooms, clean. Some friendly people at the reception desk, but no one cared for my suitcases upon arrival and upon check-out. Some waiters even look the other direction when they saw me carrying and pulling my suitcases. Hotel shuttle to the airport is convenient and price is reasonable. Satisfying breakfast but nice and cheap Chinese restaurant on the first floor with many locals as guests, lovely view from breakfast room to garden with waterfall and pond with Kois. It was raining that day otherwise we would have had breakfast in the garden. It's always a cause of anger, when DSL access is charged seperately and costly from the hotel. This should be free of charge at least for frequent guests.
Shopping Tip : Nice tea shop just around the corner, providing potential customers with a tea ceremony and a selection of really good tea qualities.
