Not in the center of the city

The hotel is very spacious, with a nice big and beautiful lobby and atmosphere excellent service

The white swan is located in the old colonial area that was reserved for foriegners.Really nice place to walk near the rever and yes starbucks just around the corner and a good dimsum near the hotel.

Room service and F&B pricing is out of this world. I guess the GM forgot that this is China and not the south of france. Rooms a little small for 5 star. the standard is 27m/2 but the room was only about 22m/2

I would recommend the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank goodness they all can speak English well.

Travel tip : For dim sum check out the resurant on the right just as you go out of the ground floor main entrance. Very nice resurtant and very reasobably priced.

lovely rooms,gorgeous foyer, great service

terrible coffee, horrible and expensive food.

the white swan is a very nice hotel set along the banks of the pearl river , which makes it a lovely running track in the morning and very safe at night, it has wonderful service and all the staff have been there over 25 years. the facilities are great spa ,great pool, gym, and a fabulous hairdresser and beautician !food is very very expensive !!! coffee is undrinkable due to the beans they use and dont ever change .

Restaurant Tip : there is a very good rest. across the road.
