Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Can walk to the town centre, given time, and a town certainly worth visiting.
The rooms were of average quality.
WE enquired about internet connections and was advised there was only the Business Centre.
Then discovered a network cable so had a fast connection.
For a 5 star hotel not in a particularly pleasing area in town if look out of the room windows to the rear and side.
Not a site for a 5 star hotel.
The food was not particulaly good and for what was served was very expensive.
The steak was one that needed extensive chewing.
We did eat locally in the town and the food in Guilin was of good quality so the hotel food had nothing to do with available local supplies.
For an alledged 5 star hotel this was far below expected standard.
The "Pool" was just about empty and of a distinct colour, unusable as were other facilities within the hotel with many items ruled out on the facilities details in the room.
The pool photograph on the web site certainly distorts the size as it is too small to have a swim.
The hotel coloured our stay in what is a very interesting area of China.
The Hotel was a disappointment given it is graded as a 5 star hotel and this even appears in the local Tourist information.
I appreciate there would currently appear to be a good discount for the booking.
Other hotels are better placed for the convenience of the town.
The food we had from the room service was not particularly good and certainly not presented in a manner that would suggest a 5 star hotel with a rather tough steak.
We eat out and had a good experience in the town.
The pool was just about empty and not a pleasant sight which was unusable and had the appearance of being like this for some time.
The pool is not for swimming in.
Much could be put right by the application of good management.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : An excellent area for seeing a little of China and the town is not really overloaded as an obvious tourist spot.
The alternative bamboo raft trip down the river was full of entertainment and local colour.

Lousy service, terrible food, cheap cheap cheap!
This is probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. When we checked in, they tried to give us a room that was inferior to what we booked through Agoda, and when I rubbed their nose in what the voucher said, they tried (happily without success) to charge us extra. They are geared up for tours, and they only turn on the lights in the lobby when a tour arrives, and then turn them off when the tour departs. The food is inedible and badly served.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't go there!

Overall speaking, I do not think this hotel is worth five stars , may be four stars compared to other five stars hotel in China.
