Very few pros for the hotel. The location is not too bad.
The 10 RMB breakfast is not much to be desired. If you are a westerner make you plans to go down the street. The carpets were quite dirty and not regularly vaccumed. The rooms were quite small and the bed quite hard. The aircon needed to run 1/2 day before even getting close to cool.
I expected a bit more than I got when I arrived. The hotel is on the edge of downtown Guilin. The location is ok. This hotel is quite old. There are many newer hotels at a comparable price point. If you are a westerner, like semi soft beds, and coffee for breakfast, this is not your hotel. The 10 RMB breakfast was all Chinese and very low quality. The bed in the room was quite hard and the daily cleaning leaves little to be desired. The staff was somewhat helpful but limited. At best it was a place to stay.
Restaurant Tip : For westerners there are several KFC resturants that serve breakfast within close walking distance.
