The hotel was lovely - great location, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. The decor of the rooms were appropriate and welcoming. I checked-in quite late and felt welcomed by the turn down service - I was ready to jump straight into bed! The room rate could have included breakfast. The hotel was warm and welcoming and allowed me to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The location of the hotel allowed me to walk to the West Lake and back to the hotel quite easily. Catching a taxi to the train station was also easy as the hotel is located on a main road. The staff were accommodating and ensured that I had a non-smoking room as requested. I would stay again at the Grand Metro Park when I return to Hangzhou.
Restaurant Tip : Starbucks is down the end of the main road outside the front of the hotel! Good for a quick cup of coffee while walking around the lake!
